SpaceX Falcon 9 successfully launches from Cape Canaveral after wind delay

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage returned to Earth.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched Falcon 9 launch of 52 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Kennedy Space Center in Florida Tuesday night.

The first instantaneous launch was scheduled at 6:57 p.m. Due to upper level winds, SpaceX later said it was targeting 10:14 p.m. the launch of Starlink.

The winds ended up behaving in order to have a successful launch right at 10:14 p.m. Visibility was a bit diminished due to some could cover in North Florida, but many viewers still reported seeing the launch.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched one Starlink mission and SES-22. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will return to Earth and land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
