11-year-old Kingsland girl found safe during traffic stop

Leann Faith Godwin was found safe during a traffic stop in Camden County and has since been returned to her family.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office says an 11-year-old girl from Kingsland, Ga. was found safe Sunday evening during a traffic stop.

Leann Faith Godwin was reported missing Saturday after she was last seen around midnight at her home located in the 200 Block of Kerry Place.

At around 5 p.m. Sunday, Godwin was found during a traffic stop in Camden County and has since been returned to her family, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office says more information will be provided in a statement on Monday.
