According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, all lanes of University Boulevard North between Merrill and Lake Lucina Road will be closed for eight more hours due to a crash.
JSO says that the crash happened overnight when a vehicle hit a power pole causing damage and outages in the Lake Lucina neighborhood.
According to the JEA outages website, 1,306 people were without power in the Lake Lucina neighborhood as of 7:19 a.m. due to a broken/damages power pole.
